OK, so light shining on dried flowers in fireplace, you have to be so quick to snap the photo when the source of the light is moving from left to right because of the angle of the sun shining through an upper window. How do you do it?? Ha ha.. still so much to learn. Thanks for your comments and advice. Appreciate it very much.

Vicki, the most easiest way is to use external flash gear capable with an adjustable lighting angle.
I'm teasing somewhat now, because it would destroy the intimate look of your work. Leave as it is, because it's a fine an intriguing photograph!

A great metaphor for the effect of darkness has in its competition with light. The three flowers reaching out to the available light illustrates the will to continue does not die easily.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
