OK, I know, maybe this is silly using this photo, but I kind of like the textures and the sun. We were descending a mountain ravine and saw this structure. Yup, this home has seen better days. Oops, just saw my shadow in the corner! Thanks for viewing always appreciate comments.

Vicki, this 'building', on the one hand, may be in need for 'some' maintenance, but on the other hand it's a both photogenic and intriguing subject with indeed a lot of textures.
Perfectly seen and captured.
Your shadow is a bonus, 😁 !

I like this photo, Vicki, it reminds me of many similar deserted doors and houses in my neighborhood. And your shadow is OK, too, it happens to all of us, our signature. LOL

I love this - the stone walls look warm and they will be full of ingrained memories of people and times gone by.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This is a most interesting shot Vicki - its textures alone make it a worthy subject. (I've also been caught by reflection in some of my shots)

Terrific capture, makes one want to take a step in and see what's on the other side. Lots of different textures also which makes it interesting.

These types of images are always photo worthy as stated by Cornelius!!! A great shot here Vicki and that door? Nothing 6,985 coats of paint wouldn't solve:):):)
