Vicki, this is a good image to stimulate the brain in order to produce a compelling and intriguing story. However, I'm glad this photograph was taken behind a window, as it meant you didn't have to use an umbrella (that last part is just a matter of kidding, of course). I certainly love the textures!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

I agree with Mr C. Your picture, taken from within and viewing out is both compelling and intriguing. But, once that is said, my mind dabbled with the also intriguing idea of looking into the window from the outside and getting the reflection of the sunset/sunrise from the window pane, through the droplets, and being amazed by the beauty of it all.
There is almost a sense of movement here with the focus and droplets . It is intriguing as you say. You have a gift indeed to see and capture scenes like this so well.
