You gotta stop and smell the roses, right? I stopped and took this shot at 7 AM on the way to work. These are late fall colors and very early lighting conditions, so some boosting of saturation was required. But, I like it and hope that you will too.

It seems to me that this picture is a happy meeting of serendipity and skill. The result is both beautiful and unusual. I love the texture and color contrast between the colorful leaves and the mist rising off the water and the leaning tree guides the eye right to the center.

This is beautiful. I wish the dock wasn't there (I'm bettin' you do too) but somethings we just can't change. Regardless - it's a wonderful capture -
