This majestic eagle was calling to its babies whom it had recently turned loose into the world. It was about 100 yards away from me and about 50 feet in the air.

Very poignant portrait of the parent.

Even without the benefit of your narrative, the eagle's eye has that something 'extra' present.

Nice shot.

Wow, what a different photo compared to all the Egrets!! This Eagle does look so "in charge" guess he's hollering out his own orders eh?!! A great photo in contrast to the Egrets. I have sure enjoyed looking at your gallery Coleen! Thank you ever so very much. Verena
