One of three that I will be posting that I took around my college campus. Taken during a light snowfall after a large storm had passed. Rather than lower tuition when they have a surplus of funds, they just do something like this. Keep checking back for the other two images.

I loe the lighting in this pictutre. It's almost like a dream with the snow and the dramatic shadows. I just love it, nice work!

Hey unloving, I will love you...
I like the setting of this image. The statue's pretty, and the light and snow are really magical. When I shoot photos like this I try to do one of two things with the foreground: either 1) don't have any or 2) use the foreground elements to assist the image. For example have a person looking at the statue (narrow aperture, long exposure for deep depth of field, or have an empty bench to give the viewer the feeling of anticipation. Something like that helps out. The trees in your foreground are a bit of a distraction.
