Thanks, Jeff! This was created with Vue d'Esprit 5. "Doing" it basically involves designing an atmosphere with available ground and sky materials and then importing or loading various objects, positioning them and manipulating them with available editing tools to make everything fit together in space in a scene. The software puts everything into a 3D context, so it's not as hard as it may look, once you get the hang of what is up, down, forward, backward and left and right. It's time consuming, but quite doable. So glad to know you liked it! Wen
Very delicate rendering of the moonlight on the snow - and I'm sure it's not as easy as you're saying; you are just being modest:) a fine creation.
Cheers,
Steve.

First ... outstanding ... simply outstanding composition. :o)
I want to point my finger at that as being one ... one of the stronger elements overall. Your sense of balance in this is impeccable.
Caveats? And perhaps this is the visual power of suggestion at work ... the sense of contrasts you created with the foreground fir trees? ... I think if you could have just ever so slightly translated that aspect more so onto the household ... would elevate this that much more. Just some thoughts.
Make no mistake ... no mistake ... I think this is incredible ... and very, very thoughtful of you. :o)
I had this on my desktop the other day and no one in our household seemed to realize it wasn't a real photo...so kudos on the reality of this beautiful seasonal image and Happy Holidays to you too Wendy...a marvellous job on this one.:Pat.
Thanks for all the comments! I learn new things every time I use the Vue d'Esprit program and know I still have much to learn. Meantime, it's so good to know that what I'm creating in the process is going over pretty well. <G> Thanks again, all! Wen
