...This Vue image took seven straight days to render and I wound up having to render it a step down from the best resolution as the "ultra" resolution required more RAM than my computer could muster. Needless to say, I'm not real interested in rendering it again. Hope you like. Wen

What intricate detail. Wouldn't mind being in a place like that. Nicely done.

I was sad because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet... so I says to him, "Hey brother, ya wanna sell those shoes?"

Well, I have to say, being an artist, a painter on canvas, I would never give seven days to that even! I think I would get to hate my own creation. I think what you've done it beautiful, but it would be great if you got paid a mint for all that time!!
It seems posting it on the net just isn't worthy of something so pretty. I do understand tho, there is a satisfaction knowing you did it, just as I feel with my paintings. But, wow, Wen...you've done it, and it's gorgeous, and now rest, ok?...you deserve it...relax...go for a walk somewhere that you love to go...thanx for the gorgeous Palm trees and those magnificent shadows!! It would be a pleasure to do a painting of this..but I don't think I have that sort of patience..lol..

I love the looks of this creation Wen. The light play is great, the shadows cast by the boats and the trees are extremely realistic as well as the ones cast by the rocks. I like how the boat on the right is listed a bit since it is pulled up on what appears to be the beach with a slope. The sunlight filtering through the palm trees is a great touch and you angled the trunks of the palms in the funky way that palms will grow sometimes.
The boat on the left appears to be in a bit too much shadow...IMO only.
The water has a sense of movement to it which keeps the image from appearing flat and the islands are way cool.
the sky is the eye=grabber though for me....the clouds look good and I like how there are more on one side that the other. It looks just like my sky did earlier! :)
This goes to my favorites Wen and many thanks for your patience in rendering and for sharing this with me :)

It seems all your creations are a labour of love Wen
The colours, & lighting is well chosen while the fine detail is outstanding.

It seems you went into geek mode to produce this beauty :o)
Well done Wen

Gaming quality and beyond. Better than most I've seen in commercial outlays.

Congrats!
