I often tried to take these pictures inside cathedrals, but the result is not very good.
This one is one of the best I saw, because we can see the details of the wall. Congratulations WN!
I'm a cathedral nut, when I saw this here on caedes I fell in love. I love it! I look all over for good interior cathedral pics, and this is one of the best. Continue on with this one!
I'm surprised you were allowed to take pictures in there. Just about all of the cathedrals I went to in England don't like people taking pictures (but I was able to sneak a few anyway).
Well, it might be different between France and England, I don't know. About not being able to take pictures, the signs that say don't take pictures actually don't want you to use flash. The only place during my whole trip that didn't want pictures or flash was in the Sistine Chapel, which unknowningly I took a picture in there as well.
...and with a flash, your photo would not have been so good...
Normally, in cathedrals, you will have problems solely if you take photos at the time of celebrations
I know this now. Every man gives his life for what he believes. Every woman gives her life for what she believes. Sometimes people believe in little or nothing yet they give their lives to that little or nothing. One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. And then it is gone. But to sacrifice what you are and live without belief, that's more terrible than dying.
