Thats actually pretty neat. The glistening rocks add a nice element to the picture. I'm not a professional but I thought it would be cool if you included more distance at the top. Who knows it might look cool. Also, if you turn up the saturation in photoshop sometimes it improves the image overall. Who knows, I usually play around with my images alot.

I'm uploading my photography on deviantart.com as well so you'll start seeing some of my same stuff on that site aswell. If I think people like it enough, i might buy a subscription and sell my artwork on it.

Jim - I figured you were doing some depth of field work when I first saw your photo. It has nice composition and balance. Getting good depth of field from such a close perspective is VERY difficult, even for a pro. Nice try. I sometimes find that by setting focus and exposure deep into a scene and then taking the shot from the foreground can enhance depth of field. It depends on the camera and lens setup. Take care
