Hey great image. To me it looks kinda like a hornet. I think the whole image has a nice sorta flow to it.

Sara - to my tired Old eyes, this also looks like the front of a Hornet or a mosquito. It dont matter what it is, because it has so much potential. It stirs the imigination. At closer look it has a 3D effect and nice radial lines. I think this would make a great stock photo for enhancement with any favorite program. For a 2nd attempt you did a good job. Do more please.

Forsake not an old friend, for a new one does not compare with him.

It reminds me of a children's book called It Looks Like Spilled Milk. I love finding things in abstract objects. This is a Mardi Gras Mask. Much plumage. Great.

Sara,
This is quite impressive for a second attempt! Granted that I am not much of an authority on anything other than photos, I do have somewhat of a soft spot for this kind of art (I have not yet found a name for it that does it justice). IMHO, the image could be a little sharper. I haven’t seen many images with such monochromatic colours, and this is quite refreshing. Please continue exploring this unique area of digital art; I look forward to seeing more images to the likes of this one.

It seems to me that what wears us down the most in life aren't the chances we take, but the chances we dont take, the dreams we put aside, the adventures we push away, the questions that are never answered

Simple yet beautiful. A great combination.

Very good for a second. It is a little bit like a very common randomly-chaotic Apop. fractal - which are actually generally very lovely, just there are a lot of them - but it actually has more structure than that and the colour scheme is simple enough to reduce the chaos, too. It makes me think of a moth or butterfly emerging - a white interstellar moth/butterfly, ready to fly on solar winds around the stars...
