A few drips of blood on a smooth surface forming a small puddle, blood is the life within us, without it no being upon earth would be that which it is, blood is living especially when unoticed....

It"s crazy and a little funny- it"s something between trees from cartoons for kids and ghotic motive.I like a strong contrast on it.Thanks for sharing.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

This is an interesting subject, one about which many of us feel a bit squeamish! Technically, the blood pool, particularly right around the veins feeding into (?) the puddle looks more like plastic. I can't understand how the blood can go through the veins and make the puddle...where is the outlet? Underneath? The veins themselves are well done, but again, the surface looks kind of like a plastic mold and not quite what I remember from my long-ago days in chemistry lab.
Thank you Jim, Johanna, Ted, Jerry, and Sharon for your comments and intrest in Blood of Life. Sharon, I'm sorry to burst your bubble of realism here but this is an image under the "abstract>surrealism" catagory, it only looks somewhat realistic, being that it has somewhat the look of glossy veins. Therefore, it dosn't have to make sense being that it is, none-the-less an image created, not a photo taken trying to be passed off as real. ^_^
I create images of both total abstract origin and somewhat realisitic looking, and they are only that.
Thank you again everyone for your intrest.

Left with only a thought of thy heart being left empty but once again for the creatures of the night to feast upon, one knows never to take advantage of those around him only to better oneself, always to better thier lives as a primary goal, possibly to gain reward for oneself. 2006 David L. LePak
