I agree, great picture, but how far away were you ? The cabin / farm / ranch looks doll sized at this perspective.

Wow, the coulors! The brown/green vs. the blue/white - great job. If I have to point anything bad out (and its hard) it has to be that the edges are not clearly defined, e.g. the trees seems a little unfocused - probably something to do with the camera/lens. Keep up the good work.

Very interesting, I wonder if this was a clearcut at some point in the past, or if nature has always maintained such a sharp border between grass and trees. Thanks for posting.

The photo captures a time (not all that long ago) when people had a true pioneer spirit. Since this is snow country I'd question the location; avalanches happen. This cabin was built by someone with more grit than most of us.
My congratulations to the ones who commented on this photo; I have not seen the word "awesome" used.

Wow, great picture! The composition is great with that little house standing there by itself and the colors are captured in a way that makes the picture very vivid... I almost feel like I'm there, listening to the silence and the wind blowing... Excellent!
