This is a very interesting post and he is an awesome looking bird. I think I might have cropped in a little closer to get rid of whatever it is in the lower left and the partial bird showing in the upper right. The composition of the bird and the clarity are really good and he is a fascinating creature. Thanks for sharing him.

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
