Photo of a cabin located in a nature reserve.
I took the photo on new years eve at noon.
The temperature was down to -13 degrees F and I could barely bend out my fingers off the camera after this picture was taken!
This cabin nestled amongst the snow covered trees and hills makes for a heartwarming winter scene with the sun setting and the little light in the window...I love it, and I'm not especially fond of winter...great work.:Pat.
This is one of the most beautiful scenes for my desktop that I now have the privilege of viewing whenever I need that warm cozy dreamy type feeling. Gorgeous presentation of warmth and light.
Asa - This is one of those pictures that has to be viewed at a larger size to fully appreciate. The first thing I noticed was the star effect of the sun, and the heavy snow on the tree branch. I agree with the others that it has a very cosy ambiance. I believe the slight discomfort from the cold was worth enduring for this fine photo. Do more please.
Well, thank you for sacrificing your fingers to the cold to get us this lovely shot. The pale light coming from the window actually makes what could have been a cold picture very warm...like the folks inside are nice and toasty by a fire. I love how much snow there was on the cabin and the trees...this is just gorgeous!
I love the peaceful feeling this image evokes and the glimmer of light in one window that's so inviting. You managed to catch the brilliance of the sunset without the lens flare. A beautiful comp and exposure. Can I use it on my Christmas cards? Excuse me, I guess I should have read the description first. NOON? Wow, must be Sweden? LOL anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
What a tranquil image! It's only September but it's already putting me in a Holiday frame of mind:) Love the colours you were able to capture - great job!
