Flooded trail leading to Fern Ridge Lake in Eugene, OR after (and before) yet another rainstorm. I had to turn back at this point but not before taking a few snaps. This is a an HDR with PS adjustments. The lens flair is the real McCoy (but a happy accident).

The angle you shot this at makes for a powerful comp, I love the placement of the trail. That said, overall a fantastic photo and a definite keeper!

I don't think this shot could be any better. Fern Ridge seems to be a favorite of mine. If you ever get a chance, get a small boat and put in at Perkin's Pennisula and head east to the dead snags. That's where the Osprey's nest and you could get some good wildlife pics there.
