The picture was taken in Craiova, a nice city from the south of Romania. The Romanescu park is one of the biggest natural parks from Europe(more images here: http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=all&q=Romanescu+parc+Craiova&m=text ) It is not a great picture, but with a little imagination the second wooden block looks like a walking old monk.

Valentina, in this study in anthropomorphism, the wooden block does look like an old monk. I suggest that the log in the water looks like a shark. Maybe that is the conversation our monk is having with his little friend. You have a very interesting picture here.

Hi Valentina,
It's not quite clear in small view, but in bigger resolution I just couldn't believe my eyes..Very smart capture and after reading your notes, yes it does resemble a man's figure, so incredible..Great shot..:)

I have to agree with the commenters above. At first I didn't "get" it even in the larger view, so I looked at it again and became quite fascinated with it. I can see why you took this artistic composition.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
