I too am drawn to the movement in water. I also find it very hard to convey in a still picture the enjoyment even a small ripple can bring. The play of light is good here, but perhaps a color adjustment or playing with the contrasts would be something that might bring this to a viewer's eye in a more attractive way. I'm still struggling with this type of post, so that's the best I can do for constructive criticism! :)PJ

Good composition, nice play of light and shadow. The still water looks a little "dull" but I suspect that is from the layer of silt on the rocks.
