I was out yesterday shooting the leaves by looking up. When autumn first arrived in my corner of the world, I obsessed about trees, now it's leaves. I love the clarity of this view...the branch ends melding into the leaf stems which branch again into the leaf veins...and the relatively uniform color allows this internal structure to display.

This is such a simple picture, yet it captures the feel of autumn, the chilled sunlit days and the colours.
