......what can I say. All the things that I need to be completly happy. A Lake, mountains, snow a little bit of green and the little bird nests in the treetops.

You've done a spectacular job capturing all these things in one photo. Good job! You might want to check out my gallery for pictures of Banff in Canada. You might just like them too.

Carla- I agree , this is all anyone would need . Absolutely beautiful. The trees on each side are a special touch - the way they look opposite to the height of the mountains is a nice capture in this photo. 10+

I love it; the mountains are beautiful, and the lake is really picturesque. It looks as though its probably quite cold, even though there's no snow on the grass.

What a view...pity the slopes are a little steep for my snowboard! A most enjoyable composition!

I totally agree. I've always said..give me the mountains, a modest cabin, my music, my art, my animals....okay maybe some food once in awhile. I'd be happy. Oh and the bird-feeders. This is a gorgeous example of my dream location...
I just have to say - I don't remember how I found this site (Caedes), but now that I have, I feel it's the best collection of pictures of all kinds that I've seen. I stay for a long time looking and looking and imagining myself in some of the places that I will probably never get to actually see in person. I just want to thank everyone for the beautiful pictures and for taking the time to share. I for one really and truly appreciate it.
