hmmm, interesting. the way you have the ball positioned at the beginning of the darker plank, it almost takes on the feel of a bowling lane. this is a nice study in texture, but i would've liked to have seen this a wee bit sharper :o)

This is a nice idea. The natural grain of the floor contrasted with machined (sort of) detail in the ball. More depth of field would be nice though. go for a tripod (or pillow) and a long exposure. I think I would not have put the ball on the beginning of a plank. Still .. a good shot.
