Well, I have to give you that. I hate these bugs, and this is the closest I've ever been to one. I didn't know they had trident antennae !! But you're right about the colors, and no one could argue with your clarity :O)

I don't like Japanese beetles either. They eat everything in sight. I do like the dof on your shot though and the colors are really nice.
