September 2006--My twins (age 6) after completing a grueling hike up Le'ahi Crater (Diamondhead). If anyone has done the hike, you are aware of what a b***h the hike is. Having done the hike plenty of times in my youth (having been raised in Honolulu) I passed on the hike, and instead had a shave ice, took some pictures and sunbathed...while my husband and the kids went all the way to the top!!

The twins are adorable Jenn and having made that hike 2 years ago (for the first time and at age 58), I would def leave it to the younger ones ;) You're right, it is a B... but the kids love it and I have to say, it is a treasure to get to the top. Nice clarity here and beautiful background. Nicley done.

Yes, I did the hike with an 8 year old. The end is a bit of a winding, dark squeeze. Nice memory. Cute kids.
