Ok guys, so I admit to some slight cheating (this isn't really a fractal--no duh, huh), that being the case...one of MM's brownies to the first person who can tell me what this really is. I had fun with this experimenting with different effects, and finally after a while of playing, this came out, I liked that it had a quasi-fractal appearance.
You remember that old... umm... I mean OLD show, Laugh In and you would see those blobish screen splashes all psychodelic like? Almost like a lava lamp caught between two sheets of glass, that was my first impression when I saw this Jenn.
Otherwise, as I continue to look at this piece, I can also see these as cut slabs of agates or petrified wood.
Either way... a rather creative piece. great job. :o)
*bow*
Well Curt, you are on the right track, however the original item is not agate or wood...and I love Laugh In (its not THAT old, or I am older than I think)
Hmm ... I know you are giving a big hint with the title; "Jellies."
Have the tip of the tongue phenomenon thing happening here ... jellies ... plastic flower emblems from flip flops ... with some effects and filters applied??
Ok, I am still partial to what I said above ... but, now have the additional info that 'jellies' are candies.
In which case, you heavily manip'd an image of those candies and put a rotational effect on them in addition to some other inverse photographic filters?
Well, no doubt I was probably down on the floor looking up when I was in Vegas ... but, for the life of me can't quite recall the name of the building.
Never been to Vegas ... so I'll not get into this poser ... The thumbnail is a dud ... BUT ... full screen I found a very interesting and quite appealing image. So whatever it is Jenn I must say you've done a darn nice job with it.
