Wow, winter is so different in your hemisphere and location. Here nothing grows in winter. We do get some nice red winterberries, but that's about it. These flowers are so beautiful and a rich color too. Nicely composed.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Wow, and you even have some green to use for a background. Lovely flowers, and they jump right out at you :)

What a sensuous and flaming red flower! It is just beautiful!
And you got a wonderful photo of it for sure!! I really love this. I kind of wish the background was totally black because I feel then the fiery red would look totally hot and elegant. But either way you did a grand job with this posting.I wonder if this is a flower, a shrub or a tree. It's lovely!.... Verena
