There is a lake in front of the local hospital. Named Singing River actually. I parked by the lake to "fix" my to go coffee, and all the birds come to check for hand outs. The pigeons were not quite as pushy and loud as the gulls.

Wonderful Clarity, Detail and Color on this Beggar E.

A few days ago I went to a Sonic Drive Inn and just as I was Finish giving my order a large Boattail Grackle landed on the Menu Box near the speaker and Squawked Very Loudly. The young lady inside replied, " Yes sir, what else would you like?". LOL.

I'm sure you shared your coffee......Thanks for sharing.

It is looking for a statue Elizabeth. They have made many a paint out of a black horse. Nice capture.

Have known it all the time. Mariners (in this case maritime pigeons or sea-gulls) are far more impudent than landbased colleagues, lol.
Fine post Elizabeth.
Wish you a Happy Easter.

'Only' 8/10 in VB because I really really do not like them noisy bastards - in the mornings of course.
Otherwise I have nothing against them - Boris the Dog has.

Really like this pigeon photo Elizabeth! I try to get a good photo of them but none yet. There is an arcane reason that there neck is luminous but I can't remember it. Will see if I can find it. Great shot! Allen

Beautiful shot of this pigeon, great detail. What a handsome bird. We don't see them around here as much as we did. I think the spray and stuff the farmers use drives them away. Great image here.
