Again, the quality following the commotion is hard to come by. Fascinating to watch the parent swoop in, then entice them out on the edge. Most got to the next tree this day. He (I think) will fly to various outlying branches then fly off again. I noticed one made it to the far corner of the swampy area and was rewarded.

This is anouther really cool shot of nature in action. The tough love a mother bird displays to get her chicks to fly. Great job.

A heron reminds me of a colt... their legs (and wings) are so long and must be coordinated with each other. It must be much harder for these little guys to fly than for, say, robin babies. Great catch, and amazing that your focus is so good in these circumstances.

I like the Fro's on the birds Elizabeth. They seem to be anxious to learn the ways of fishing and adventure. How fortunate you were to come across this scene. Thanks for sharing.

Honor those who gave all this Memorial Day Weekend.

They have to learn in order to survice Elizabeth. One can call it 'motherly love', but think she isn't aware of it. Just instinct!
Very fine capture again my friend. Thanks for sharing.
