Taken the same morning as Island Birds III, although a bit earlier. This guy was strutting alongside the road. You can tell it was a windy morning, I was almost cool in May.

I think you've been making pets of these guys! This is as close as I've seen and the bird isn't at all worried. Great capture, nice and clear.

Looks like a sandy beach Elizabeth instead of a road. Was he hitchhiking? Kinda looks like he has a leg stuck out. Nice capture from the car I assume. Good post.
