He is beautifully sharp and perfectly composed. The angle on the jetty is sweet and the bird almost glows in that light.

Nice shot,Liz. I am not much for birds on manmade objects,
but your compostion of water to dock and the angle of your
shot work. Very nice contrast between the dock and water make
for an interesting background.

I couldn't help but think of this song when I saw the young heron Elizabeth. I hope he is on the lookout and heeds the advice of Ma Heron. I am sure she is looking for him. Beautiful lighting. Excellent post.
