Many thanks to Nikoneer who was kind enough to clone the power poles and lines from R&R showing me it is in fact possible to keep the integrity of the changing skies. Additionally I went back over it with the blur tool at varying strengths to blend and blur some further noise I noticed on closer inspection.

This is as beautiful as ever.He did an excellent job of cloning out the power lines etc.I really liked the power lines in the original and felt that you composed it so well.I think that the colors took on a deeper hue and the whole image looks polished.Fine work..

Just once I'd like to see something like this in person. Beautiful work, Elizabeth. I love the colors.

A great job on this rework Elizabeth. Some nice clone work getting rid of the power poles and lines. Very well done.

The comp on the original was pretty cool but I know lots of folks detest power lines in landscapes.

Such a gorgeous view. Power lines never bother me too much, they are a part of most places now. Can't get away from them.
But this is awesome no matter what. Such grand colours.Verena

Thanks for the acknowledgement, Elizabeth, but as I said, it was your good eye for photography and camera settings that captured this image. Plus your "post-Nikoneer cloning" cleaning put the perfect finishing touches on it. Happy to collaborate with you.

i miss the powerpoles, it is almost too perfect.....great rework no doubt about that....prefer the original, there is more intensity ...

I am not one of those who gets upset with power lines E~. I don't live in a neighborhood where are the lines are underground. Both shots are beautiful but the original gives it more of the gulf feel.
