More experimenting with the painting program on older photos. I'm on the fence on what I think about the effects of the skies. The line in the sky is present in the original.
Elizabeth, this program gives you the freedom to create a painting from an image that can be changed at your discretion. If it was my image, I would have bent therefore the line in the air somewhat. But it's not mine but yours, so it's up to you. This does not mean however that you didn't create another great watercolor like painting. It's on the contrary. Well done! Regards, Cornelius.
Liz, I think I would have cloned the line out and then run the picture through your art program. Overall, I think the program, with your skill as a photographer, could be a very productive team.
You could start your won art museum with these images, E. I have been goofing around with textured pictures, but I haven't had the nerve to post any yet. I really like work with that program.
