The composition works well...the river curves and attracts the eye, whereupon you stop and admire the canoes. But looking it over, I see that you have used the fence in the foreground to give the scene a setting. And that big pink flower (whose name I can't quite remember, but I know what it is, trust me) to clarify the lower left corner. Nitpicking, I wish you had gotten a bit more fence on the bottom. Lovely scene, allows the imagination to run.
