Different season and now a different bridge! I miss the red barn bridge that looked so beautiful last summer:( Took this pic today and was saddened by the appearance of a new bridge. Taken near my home,Indian Lake,Pittsburgh PA.

What was wrong with the red bridge? It didn't look like it needed to be replaced. This is a nice looking bridge also, but the red one was a lot more picturesque. This is still a great shot, though, Ami. I like the branches going across the top of the picture, and it's a wonderful winter scene. The lake doesn't look to be frozen solid, so don't go ice skating yet. LOL. Nice work.

A beautiful winter scene. Very well composed. Love the view up the hill with that winding road.

Very nice composition Ami. I like the perspective you chose. The hill behind the picnic area almost looks like a miniature ski slope. Good winter capture.

A beauty of a winter scene even though it looks very cold. The bridge stands out nicely amongst the ice covered water / snow & the stark trees make a wonderful backdrop. Fantastic capture.

This really good Ami. I like the contrast between the snow, ice and the bridge. The shadows on the ice are really cool to. Great job.

Love the infinite focus you have here; the clarity of the overhanging branch is very nice! I can't decide whether I'd want to keep the branch or get closer to the new bridge to bring more attention to the bridge and the snowy picnic tables. Feeling as you do about the bridge, I concur with your more distant choice! :) Lovely winter scene.

It is still nice to know that people will build covered bridges. I hope the old ones never disappear but new ones are great also.
