View this one full screen to get the best look! This momma duck had quite a brood to herd toward the water. Took this from the bank(so as not to scare them) They are camoflauged somewhat as they hurried along. The duckings were so cute!

Great color and clarity in this. They do look camoflauged with their background. Nice little capture here and I hope they made it ok.

The rocks/shale really hide the quackers very well Ami. I like the angle. I feel like a hawk/eagle/owl that is about to swoop down on my prey. Mmmmmmm, Duck...it's whats for dinner!!

It is interesting that the gravel basin here hides the adult duck better than the chicks. The chicks are probably protected when in the shadows under a bush. Cute little scene.

Boy am I tired.
Great brood of children she has. One suggestion: never shoot down at an animal or pet. Get more on their level. If you can't get on their level, don't take the shot.
