Different view of the willow tree before the wind picked up. Love this lake and it's nearby marshes and hiking trails.

AMi, love the effect you used on this. It almost looks like a watercolor. Great spot. I love Weeping Willow's. We don't have them in Alaska...:(

That tree reminds me of the one on the golf course that I got stuck behind all the time. I think I broke a five iron on one of it's roots one year. Very nice shot, Ami. Nice colors.

Those first green sprigs look nice on the willow. I like the diverse colors and textures. Lovely capture of the transitions.

I love LOOKING at Weeping Willows, but if you've ever tried to rake their leaves...you develop a different perspective! The leaves are so narrow, they slip between the tines of the rake. This is a bright Very Early Spring pic...something most of us Northerners are hungry for!
