In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art. ~Rumi~
Very, very nice Ami. A good balance between water and sky/clouds and capturing the bird in flight is a wonderful touch!! The scripture works for me as well. I tip my hat to you:):)
This is my first comment on one of your postings; so hang on...here we go. The shot reminds me of a poster I might see at the local Hallmark store. The low flying pelican is a nice touch and helps balance the composition. I've been told that a landscape should have the horizon in the upper or lower third. That rule doesn't seem to matter on this shot. Maybe the text makes that "rule" irrelevant, but I'm not much for rules to begin with. Just ask the moderators.
Great idea using a monotone. If it's color, you can't tell because of that cloudy sky. The whole image makes me feel very peaceful.
The picture does match the bible verse well. There is a sense of timelessness with the endless water and sky merging at the horizon. And somehow, the lone bird speaks of presence. Wow!
