Great perspective, Andreea! The walls of the fortress in the foreground, forest in the middle distance, and the mountains in the background. Another wonderful photo!

I like how the slope of the elevated walkway mimics the slopes of the hills and mountains behind. I'm used to seeing castle images that place the castle in the midst of civilization, albeit medieval. This one gives the structure a sense of isolation, as though it were an ancient Roman outpost on the Germanic frontier. Searching Google satellite photos of Rasnov, however, shows the fortress sitting in wooded hills to the east of the city, with what appears to be a soccer field east of the fortress. I know a photo works for me when it gets me to research it further to learn more about it. Nice capture Andreea, thank you.
