Took this pic not at dusk/dawn as the landscape photography rules state, but in plain daylight. My husband and I were running a fever and could not wait for better light. Hope you will enjoy it anyway. Canada is on the left, the US on the right.

I don't care when you took it. It is beautiful. After seeing this shot I feel like running a fever myself. Love the angle and the rainbow with the bridge in the background is awesome. The water looks all powerful as it is. Great post.

Looks like you just proved the first rule of photography -- "There are no hard and fast rules." Beautiful job.

Very nicely captured ... I would say the lighting conditions were perfect. I like the rainbow on the falls. Well done.

well captured by you, the Falls are very impressive, have bin there too:))

So we thought we are going to have a look from the USA side *we were in Canada* ...duh...no way, after a finger-scane and a eye-scane and paying 6 dollars to get across the border we could enjoy our visit in the USA....

I think that if you had waited for the "magic hour", the rainbow may have been gone! :))
I like your panoramic layout here; you have a nice V-shaped composition. The thunderheads make me smile...they look like the committee gathering to watch the workers work.
Hope you and your husband have recovered by now.

It's been quite a while since I visited here. It looks as they they're redone the viewing area on the US side completely. I like this view better, or perhaps it was there all along and I didn't realize it.

Love the rainbow and the boat. I'd like to make that ride one day.
