Hi Ruby! I love the warmth of this picture, the colours seem to glow from within. And of course we have the "beast" that just sort of moved right in. Gotta watch them, they tend to do that when you're not looking :-)))

I will catch that beast by its tail and proceed to chop its head off, then I will slice it up and toss it onto the top of my steak, cook until medium over the fire...there that will take care of him...even add a little salt and butter to it before I eat this ferocious beast...

This is lovely. I like the contrast of the flowers mixed with the mushroom? or toadstool? As you can tell, I would be dangerous to invbite to pick mushrooms lol. Lovely shot or did I just say that?

Don't know if I have made mention of this program before ... forgive me my cookie addled brain, if I have :oP ... go here for Photofiltre.

Free, easy to use .. crop, resize images ... make adjustments to colour(s) and contrast ... and widely used on the site here by various members.

A little more contrast ... hmm, maybe some cropping as well ... and this one gets elevated easily.

Ahhh ... a sweet gesture and sentiment Ruby. Come to have expected that from you ... now then, where's my cookies? :oP

Kidding, well ... sort of, lol.

Curious if your camera has a macro mode, and/or zoom to get in a little closer on your flowers' unexpected guest. Both specimens of flora look quite healthy. Might be interesting to see more of a bugs' eye view. Just some thoughts.
