The title might have you a bit dumbfounded, but these as well as about thirty crossed in front of us in Black Mesa country in the panhandle of Oklahoma. The speed limit was fifty, but we ran twenty five to thirty for about fifty miles so my hubby wouldn't hit one by mistake. Granted, they are really good eating, but I was over three hundred miles from home and a pronghorn antelope doesn't make for a decent hood ornament, 'specially when you've borrowed your mother's car. LOL Thsnk for lookin' in!!

Ruby, were you hanging out the car window to get this shot? lol. I can see hubby driving as you gave it the heave ho out the window, camera in hand up to the eye clicking away while screaming back to the poor driver, "Just one mo."

Wonderful shot of getting these pronghorns in action. I know what you mean by reducing the speed limit to avoid from hitting one. I was trying out a Jeep once ... missed the first deer, but couldn't avoid the second one. Ended up buying the Jeep plus paying for the damages ... a costly purchase it was.

Beautiful open countryside too ... looks like they have alot of room to run. Very well done Ruby.

Pronghorns out on the plains of the Oklahoma panhandle! Cool! I've never seen stuff like this... even if you did blow the horn to scare them. ;-))

Looks like the great escape! They're good eating, huh? It might take some doing to get them off your hood. I see the terrain is quite dry in that region too. Thanks for showing something rare to see like this.
