interesting- like the color and arrangement of the objects. I wasn't sure if the glasses while swimming were intended as a joke... but it was kinda funny. nice portrayl of hobbies. :)

Actually, I left the glasses on as my head (and the eyes & lips) are the only photographic parts of this. The "Me" as you will. The swimming portion is representative of a hobby and therefore kind of separate.

Also for the really confused... I play Spades online, and the variation I play is called "Suicide". Just about anybody will tell you I spend a wee tad too much time doing this, so it's correspondingly large here. lol

Aha, so you like cooking too. I love cooking. It's almost soothing for me. Like meditation... Zen-style I would think since I never quite know how things will end but take the route that unfolds before me. (And believe it or not it is even quite edible too. ^_^)

This is a very original idea & I hope it catches on, it's an interesting way to introduce yourself, instead of tamely listing your hobbies & interests, you've shown them. Really nice work and I like the overall balance of the composition and colour palette. Now, there is a question, I would like to pose ... any significance to the colour choices here? Enquiring minds want to know. And between the two versions, I am hard pressed to pick, truth be told. Soooo ... I am wondering if your dissatistifaction with the 'flattening' is purely from an artistic perspective or perhaps, another layer to your 'onion.'

The colors are simply colors that I appreciate and enjoy seeing, no other significance other than that, and yes, it is simply my artistic vision of the richness of these original colors that made me dissatisfied with the other version.

Sophie, I'd give you your glasses back, but well... I need them so I can stop banging my toe into the dresser. So kind of you, thanks!

And no... it gets weird when you start watching "Wheel of Fortune", cuz it's on after Jeopardy & the remote's across the room, and you solve the puzzles in the form of a question. *grin*

So this is you...:) I feel like I have been called out on the stage on the Jenny Jones show and found out the person I know and love is not some little cat character with her tongue playfully curling around my ankle...:) However...you are pretty. You appear a bit "bookish"...with that librarian's stern, no-nonsense stare...and the hair up and glasses. Bookish does not mean homely...by any means. Take the hair down...and seduce us with that smile...and those provocative eyes....yeah....take off that guarded look....but baby...you can leave those fishnets on......:) Hubba-hubba....meow! :)

lol… the shot was actually taken by my friend as I went out to swim cuz she thought my hair looked cute (in the original pic) the way that it was… so that look is an "alright already! hurry up and take the friggin picture!"
