well, HDR i do know, or would atleast like to think i have some experience in i suppose. the lights maybe a little too light, close to washout in some yellows(only) but good lighting for this type of pic. some good contrast for your depth and texture. i wont bother with DOF or focus because you just asked about HDR. i like the greens and orange colors, not too overwhelming but enough to make the picture pop. the lighting over all is good. nice experiment. i often go into lightroom with just one exposure to achieve an HDR appearance. it doesnt always have to be multiple exposures. im sure some will argue that fact.
