In this image that is decades old, we see the first chapel on Esmoriz beach. On top of sand and between wooden houses (palheiros), if it still existed it would be submerged by sea waters. We also see, in the background, the current beach chapel .... And by the way, a HOLY AND MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, full of HARMONY AND PEACE
