Liking the colour here ... might have been interesting to have applied a blur filter on the perimeter areas. Bring a little more focus and interest? Perhaps.

Wow man. Like, that looks lilke my brain. On drugs. No, really it's a creative idea for a post, and I found myself examining the perimeter of the sphere to find where it began. Fortunately you provided that part at the top left. Good colors. Good subtle suggestion of shape as well.
