This photo is just a small part of what is left of Fort Armistead near Baltimore. Granted from what I have read about the Fort, nothing note-worthy had happened here. Even that does not explain what I saw here. I have heard about tunnels and passways underneath the fort that were great for 'exploring'. So we (my fiance and I) took my 5 year old son and our dog there. The entire time I was worried the dog would get a cut in her paw from the thousands of pieces of broken beer bottles. I was also worried about my son exporing the tunnels where there was nothing but mounds of trash that was left there and homeless people were known to hang out in. Right before we left we decided to go into another area of the fort to explore. Found a small room under a wall that my son tore into to go 'explore'. Luckily my fiance was there first but we found nothing but porn in there! So, will someone please tell me what is wrong with society!?! What was once an amazing Fort is now covered in trash, over run with weeds, graffitied, and has porn laying out for kids to see. Times like this I am sick to call myself a part of the human race. Ok, sorry about the complaint session, but I had to get that off my chest! Thank you for reading this!!
