Ok...my last couple posts haven't been the best. So, hopefully this one is better. Another view of the battefield. You can see the old fence in the background. Let me know what you think. Thanks again for any comments!
Just going to throw this out at you, Adrienne ... hope you don't mind ...
Lose the vignetting at the upper right and left.
I like how it sets up the scene/setting at the bottom ... but, in my humble opinion of course ... think it is a detractor in the upper regions.
My thoughts here are ... guide your viewer's eyes to that of, literally, opening their eyes up ... to what is contained in the background.
Really a nice feel and look to this photo. Seems somehow constrained by the inclusion and extension of the vignetting towards the top.
And if ... I say 'if', as I am not sure ... you are trying to make up for the lackluster sky? No worries. Fits the colour palette and feel of the overall image well, I believe.
Despite what is noted above, pretty sure you have redeemed yourself with 'us' with this visual offering.
That said ... thanks for sharing this one with us. :o)
Such fine quality and very pleasing perspective and color here, Adrienne. I like this a lot and think maybe Les has a point about the vignette. Maybe you wanted it to resemble 'the past'?
Yes, this is in another league. Beautifully composed, it's the contrast between the sharp diagonal and the curving lines that do it. The colours are terrific too and the golden grass in the foreground is just perfect. Lovely work Adrienne.
This shot is excellent Adrienne.
The vignetting have overshadowed this perfect composition.
Anyway, the colors are gorgeous my friend.
Thanks for sharing.
