It works. I was betting against it, but it works. The less-purple V in the right half of the image makes it somehow - gives it depth and makes the purple seem part of what was there instead of something layered on top. I, of course, particularly like the purple reflections in the water, but the intricacy of the bridge's geometrics vying with the natural fractals of the trees is also pretty cool.
This is purdy, but it's not Purple enough for me. Looks more deep pink or something. I like purple because Purple and White were my high school colors. Still like I said...this is a purdy shot.
Hi Adrienne
Hmmmm it is pretty cool looking! It looks like every tree is a flowering plum or flowering cherry. which would really be cool! I do like the color and how it looks very much!

It's too pinkish to me. I feel IMHO that it should either be a deep eggplant purple, or a royal purple, but I'm sure you had fun trying it out. I have to admit I think I'd like it not so pale pink tho. Verena
I think the color works pretty well, (though I wouldn't really call it purple). It makes it look other-worldly.
It looks like when you changed the colors you got some banding in the sky that needs to be smoothed out. I would also up the brightness and contrast just a little, so it doesn't look hazy.
The color makes it interesting, a little more work would make it really stand out!
