I found this old barn taking a random side road on the West Virgina and Virginia boarder. Spent some time softening this photo up some to get it an older feel.
Almost looks like you gave it an Norton (Orton) effect Adie. I can see you notice old barns as well. The trees make a fabulous backdrop. Look forward to more.
Nice shot, but I think it is actually an old house, the fireplace chimneys would give it away. Never heard of any farmer building open fires in a barn where hay, etc. was stored.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Hello Adrienne...I bet this old building could tell a few stories about the people that farmed the land...The tin roof and the timber walls makes this a very interesting building to look at...Well done...All the very best to you Adrienne....Mick.
