This is my first contribution to Caedes. I have been downloading images from this site for over a year now. I have yet to finish the background on this sketch. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks the image will be completed. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have to say that every image on this site is absolutely amazing. Nothing compares to Caedes.

Oooh, you got work... way cool. I also was like that a couple of years ago... Love your work. excellent bird, although seems to me the back of his head is a bit too flat. But what a great image... :)!!!

Wonderful to see such ability to recreate life's beauty by hand.. wow.. am in awe. There's only a few on here that do sketches at all. It looks like so much work, and very personal. Thanks for sharing it. With luck there will be more you'll let us see :-) cheers, Quiet

There is nothing quite as appreciated as seeing someones true art work. So much goes into it. This is absolutely wonderful ! I do canvas painting, but really am not able to draw. Strange eh?!...You have captured a very serious look on this Eagles face, which in itself is very hard to do...I say Bravo! to your talent and I welcome you to caedes also...and hope to see much more of your creations. Thank you so much for posting...Verena

Wow very nice work. The shading is in this image is excellent. You definitely have talent. The thing that really intrigues me about this image is the eyes of the eagle. They seem to be staring right at me. Sketching eyes is something I have never really come close to mastering but you have captured it so well. Two thumbs up

The drawing is beautiful. I don't think I'd do too much in detail on the background - maybe an out of focus tree line to leave the "focus" on the subject.

There's no way I can critique or suggest any changes before I say that you capture the eagle's prowess in this picture very well. If I were to say anything concerning the background it would only be that maybe a few mountains in the bacground. The light in the picture is perfect. I wouldn't add anything above the eagle to threaten it's intensity. At the most, a faded mountain lightly reflecting from a lake. That would be the most I would do. Don't add anything that would force a shadow into the picture.
