Firstly, apologies for portrait format of this photo, but sometimes only this will do the job. A winter sundown on Froggat Edge, a gritstone ridge in the Peak District, much used by rock climbers because of the variety of different climbs to be had there. The storm approaching from the north could be either rain, snow or hail, as it is not unusual to get weather from all 4 seasons in an hour up here. Enjoy.

Barry, never apologize for giving us a peek at such a magnificent shot!... at least that is my opinion! :o)

Con I am beta testing some software at the moment. It appears as though there is a bug in it which is preventing me from using the links you sent and also from using the Caedes PM function. You could email me here with the mods barrytenlet@blueyonder.co.uk

I'm not a fan of portrait format either but I do like the content here. the rocks are beautifully colored. A vast and far away view. Always look forward to your postings.

A magnificent view over the ridge. Such a great sky to compliment the scenic view as well. I'm enjoying the details both near a far. A pleasure.

I like the vantage point and the use of the available light. Sometimes vertical works well. It has in this shot.

Neat "compare and contrast" going on here...soft, curvy clouds vs. round but very hard rock...yet both clouds and rock suggest "foreboding"...Beware All Who Venture Here. Another nice one!
